At Newlands School, we promote community participation across all phases of the school; and we are gratefully supported by parents in many events that we run through the academic year.

We ensure that our students are proactive and responsible members of the school and the wider communities   Our students take environment issues very seriously and a number of initiatives run through the curriculum, assemblies and events.
 
The UAE itself provides a great learning resource and we enhance our curriculum by offering our students many opportunities  to visit its Heritage sites, modern architecture and infrastructure and world-class attractions through school trips.
 
Community Support and charity fundraising are a central feature of the school; and students hold events to raise money for charities that they identify.
