Fees at Newlands School
Newlands School is a fee-paying international school, regulated by the Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA). All information and communication relating to school fees is approved by the KHDA.
The fee structure is represented in the table below:

An application fee of AED 500 must be paid prior to your child’s assessment. This fee is non-refundable and non-transferable.
Admission Fee (Deposit)
To secure your child’s place for the academic year 2021/2022, a non-refundable admission fee of 10% of the annual fees is required to be paid within 3 days of the offer. This will be deducted from the first term fees.
The first term’s fees are due prior to the start of the academic year. A student may not start the academic year unless the first term’s fees are paid in full. The second term’s fees will be invoiced at the start of December to ensure that payments can be processed before the start of the term. The third term’s fees will be invoiced in early March, 2022.
If your circumstances change, it is essential that you contact us in advance of the deadline, so that we can support your needs. Tuition fees must be paid to ensure that your child/children can have access to the teaching, resources, facilities and extra-curricular programme.
Learning Resources & Assessment Charges
The school charges an additional fee for learning resources (textbooks, stationery, online learning resources, assessments, library fee, and laboratory fee). The fee is 1,200 AED per student in FS 1 and FS 2, 1,750 AED per student in Years 1 to 6 and 2,000 AED per student in Year 7 to Year 10. The fee is due with the first payment for Tuition Fees.
In all circumstances, for new and existing students, deposits and fees will not be refunded if a child does not return to school for the next academic year or if they choose not to accept a place within the school. We reserve the right to refund tuition fees on a discretionary basis.
Students withdrawing from the school must submit their withdrawal form to our Admissions Department. A withdrawal form must be signed by the parent and the reason for the withdrawal should be indicated.
To complete the withdrawal in a timely manner, a 30-day notification period is required to ensure all necessary steps are taken.
